You could get sick . . . or not. That would depend whether or not any pathogens were growing on the meat. There's no way to tell without lab tests.
It might be sick and/or its food is too rich for it. Perhaps it's been given too much 'human food', especially oily. If it's a puppy, often they will get overexcited and eat too quickly.
