Wasps, and many other stinging bees, are omnivorous. They kill the moths to eat them and/or feed them to young. I watched one attack a moth the other day, ripped its wings off while stinging the body.

Is it possible to clap-kill a wasp without getting bitten?

Clapping quickly and accurately to kill a wasp can be challenging because they are fast and can fly away. Additionally, clapping too close to a wasp may agitate it and increase the risk of getting bitten or stung. It is generally safer to use a fly swatter or insect spray to kill a wasp.

Will vinegar kill a wasps nest?

Vinegar alone will not kill yellow jackets but if you mix it with other ingredients it will kill them. You will need to mix vinegar with water and liquid dish soap.

Can you kill a wasp using deodorant?

yes. I use it all the time to get rid of those nasty looking brown fat spiders that come out at night on the side of the house. The stream allows you to get the one near the top that you cant reach.+++On the side of the house? Outside? At night?. You are killing them merely because you are afraid of them or don't like their appearance? Spiders are beneficial, not pests, and these ones appear to be after nocturnal insects like moths. It's also obviously pointless because others soon take their place!

What is the symbiotic relationship between field digger wasp and fly?

The field digger wasp preys on flies, specifically targeting them as a food source for their larvae. The wasp paralyzes the fly, then lays its eggs on it before burying it underground. The hatched larvae then feed on the immobilized fly, ultimately benefiting from a reliable food supply while controlling fly populations.
