Zeke the Wonder Dog was a yellow lab who caught frisbees at the MIchigan State University football games in the early 80's. The owner was a MSU student who trained the dog to catch frisbees while he worked the overnight shift at Dukes Shell, a gas station that is now a restaurant called the Harrison Roadhouse. Zeke was the official mascot of Spartan football and the only non-human to receive a letter jacket. There was a revival of Zeke the Wonder Dog in 2001, but these Zekes are not the showman the original was. The MSU student graduated and lives in the Detroit area. He has two dogs, both Bichon Frise.
