Most people think wolves are loners and cold: but there has been A LOT more lonely. Tigers, unless they are ready to mate and have cubs, hunt alone at night. Some species of hawk are loners, and the Great White is a total lonely animal, like the crocodile. And another GREAT BIG loner is the wildcat.

They can be quite solitary, unless mated or having had cubs.
