If a horse breaks its leg it is usually euthanized. This is because once the leg is broken, it can be set to heal, but it will always limp. But in most cases, the horse will be in too much pain, or wont even be able to get up if it cant heal right, so the owner usually has it put down.

A horse that breaks its leg can heal if it is a chip or a fracture depending on the severity of the break. A clean or severe break in most instances can not be healed because of the weight of the horse being carried by its legs. On occasion the horse has been known to be suspended in a special sling that supports the horse until the leg heals but most commonly the horse is put down.
Horses can break a leg in many ways; stumbling, galloping, races, fighting, and the most common, jumping. When a horse breaks its leg, it's in a lot of pain. The bone could be set, but your horse will always limp. But, if it does heal, it wont do much good, as the horse will still be in a lot of pain, as i said, limp, and may or may not get up at all. That's why most owners euthanize their horses, meaning, they put them down. You can look up ways a horse breaks it leg to find out more. Just be safe and gentle with your horse ;)

The horse fell on him.
A broken leg in a guinea pig may not heal properly without a splint or some form of stabilization. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian for proper treatment to ensure the leg heals correctly and the guinea pig can recover fully.
A person who breaks horses is typically referred to as a "horse trainer" or a "horse breaker."
you will have to give the horse a lot of massages in the part of leg that is stiff and give the horse inflammatory tablets to and hopefully that should work x

im not sure but most horses are put down after a broken leg as it costs a lot to get it healed!
It depends on how a horse has hurt it's leg. If it's just a scratch or small cut you can clean it and bandage it for a few days until it begins to heal. If it's a puncture wound or a break call and equine Vet immediately.
I have never seen this exact statistic before but it may be closer to the truth than we would like to see. In most cases it is not a matter that the bone won't heal. When a horses breaks a bone, it is usually a foot or leg. Because of the way the horse's body works he must spend the greater part of his life on his feet. He is a very heavy animal and on the ground for too long his own weight starts to shut down his organs and breathing. So it is hard to keep a horse off his broken foot or leg until it has time to heal. For the average horse a broken leg is still very bad news. On horses that have great monetary worth, like expensives race horses, the owners will usually have some kind of insurance on them. Because of this, some of these breaks can be treated. It is expensive and labor-intensive, and the outcome can be 'iffy' but for very valuable horses the owners usually try to save them. There is always the hope that a broken leg will be fesible to treat on our backyard horses. They are just as important and loved as the most expensive race or show horse. With advances in equine medicine it is probably not that far off.
A child's leg will heal faster. They are young, still growing and their body can easily replace damaged cells and fight infection. An older person has a slower system and though their leg may heal, the risk for infection is greater as well as the longer period of time for the leg to heal.
A horse's legs are very important because all their weight (that isn't their legs!) is supported by their four legs. That's over 900lbs! So they have to be very strong and that's why if a horse breaks a leg it is usually fatal.
Horses cannot lie on the ground for long lengths of time without getting ill, and they also can't stand on three legs while they wait for the fourth to heal. The result is a long, painful struggle that usually ends up with the horse dying. Having the leg heal properly without long term ramifications are extremely rare, and very expensive for the horse owner. Euthanizing a horse is seen as the most humane thing to do.
If a spiders leg comes off it will heal and grow a new leg.
if the rat is dragging it leg or hopping move anything away from him/her that will lead to further indury and just leave it to heal. healing takes approxamtly 3-5 days but DONT take him/her to the vet or they will just put him/her down :(
To heal a broken leg you want to make sure that you go see a doctor. They will need to put a cast on it and in some cases, surgery might even be necessary to help it heal.
Heal it with the ointment. I have a horse, but it is ugly!
