I've heard this case many times, But you didn't give enough information about where your hamster is bleeding, it could be bleeding from the vagina, or it could just have a cut, I think that It's just going through heat when coming from the vagina, and when it's coming from the leg or body, that just means that your hamster cut themselves on something, so If i were you and your hamster had a cut: 1. Get out the smallest band-aid (a type of special tape made to wrap around the wound like a cast) just wrap it around your hamsters wound. 2. get a little box or shoe box and just get a small cloth put the cloth in the box, dump some food on the cloth and just let your hamster rest on the cloth. 3. Check cage for any types of cuttable items inside cage. If your able to find any thing, just take it out the cage, If there's blood around the cage just clean out the cage and make sure you make it spic and span. From. echub Hamsters don't experience menstruation (periods) like humans do, but it is not unusual for females to bleed from their vaginal opening once or twice in their life once they have reached maturity. The bleeding is not severe, however, so if you notice more than a few spots of blood or the bleeding persists get her checked out because it could be something more serious (such as a uterine infection or even cancer). My female hamster began bleeding when she was roughly two and I took her to the vet many times, where lengthy and futile treatments were administered. This caused stress to the hamster and did nothing to improve her condition. I'm sure that this was a once off, though. I didn't want my hamster to suffer but by possibly dragging out the last few weeks she was living in pain, I felt terrible for not having her put down or simply just letting her die. It's a judgment call you must make, considering the hamster's welfare above your own.
. Rectal bleeding can be caused by several different conditions. Either constipation or diorhea cause straining that can produce blood. A rectal prolapse, where part of the intestine comes out through the anus is another possibility. Tumors in the intestine can result in bleeding, as well. So can certain internal parasites. you need to see a vet as none of these can be treated at home. There could also be blood in the urine or vaginal bleeding from females-other serious conditions so you need to be sure of source for a correct diagnosis.
I would choose the name Wanda for a female hamster.

Yes, there are hamster leashes available for purchase. They are designed to allow hamsters to explore their surroundings safely while under supervision. However, it's essential to use them carefully to prevent injury to the hamster.
YOU can do whatever YOU want, but keep in mind YOUR HAMSTER may not like it, and it can cause YOUR HAMSTER to NOT TRUST YOU, the next time YOU go near the wheel while YOUR HAMSTER is on the wheel it will leave! Just remember your size compared to your hamster, u would get pretty scared if someone that's nearly 1000x bigger in size to u spun your wheel while u were on it..... Try to see things from your hamster's perspective! And remember: IT'S A PET, NOT A TOY! TOYS DON'T GET HURT AND FEEL PAIN, PETS DO!
No. It is cruel and unnecessary. Absolutely not! That would be cruel and selfish, not to mention incredibly painful for the hamster. A hamster's ears are so small that it would be difficult to do, and even more painful and difficult to put earrings in them. Doing this can also cause one who does this to be arrested and charged with animal cruelty, which is exactly what they would deserve.
It is not strep throat. A doctor will need to diagnose your condition.
Her nose may be bleeding because of weather changes. Have you ever checked if it was changing from hot to cold where you keep your hamster? I have 2 male dwarfs and the nose of one of my hamsters used to bleed because the other one scratched him there. Do you have another hamster in the same cage? If you do, they might be attacking. If you still can't find out why, I would show your hamster to a vet. Hope this helps!
Prostate cancer, urinary tract infections, kidney infections, and the bladder stone could cause a man to bleed from the prostate gland.

They both sound good, but consider the hamster's personality. LEAH would suit a hamster who is more sweet and docile. Who is more graceful and kind toward humans. Also, who likes human interation and doesn't bite. SASSY would be a hamster name for a hamster who nips, is a free spirit, and who does what she wants. She'd also be more the type to run away and cause some ruckus.
