Penguins aren't really at stake if the ice melts. They probably wouldn't be able to breed, however, since they stay on the ice when the babies are being incubated and bred. Technically, polar bears are most affected since they are top predators, meaning nothing really eats them. Polar bears hunt from the ice, and they live their whole lives on the ice. It is like their home. If you lived in a cottage with lots of food in the refrigerator and had a nice life.....and suddenly the cottage was taken with everything inside it, you'd be a goner, right? Same thing with the poor animals. Hope this helps...?
A2. Not all penguins live in an icy environment. we have perhaps half a dozen species in New Zealand. And the same for MacQuarie Island, Campbell island, and the South America.
No, penguins do not bury their dead in holes in the ice. Instead, they may leave the deceased penguin's body on the ice or snow where it is likely to be scavenged by other animals or eventually break down naturally.
Burrows in the ice or enclosed areas! :)
maybe the ice age people
because they have webbed feet
emporer penguins ive on ice
it melts
the earths sea levels will rise
they spred out
it is basically because of greenhouse gases. the earth is getting hotter so it melts the ice in antarctica. The krill that the penguins feed on live in the ice, in bubble which have algae which the krill feed on. but because there is less ice, the krill die meaning the penguins go hungry.
The ice melts and the water gets cooler.
water must be frozen to form the ice in the first place
i think that they will turn in a river
When the ice melts the water level will rise. The water level will increase because Ice is frozen water and when the ice melts, it turns to water, which means more water will be added to the glass.
Some penguins, like Emperor Penguins, breed and raise their young entirely on sea ice. When sea ice melts earlier at the end of winter this disrupts the breeding season. Another problem is that the penguins' food source, krill and other tiny crustaceans, survives on phytoplankton and zooplankton that grow on the ice. As the ice disappears, so does the plankton, disrupting the food chain.
Probably not, since penguins don't 'live' on the Antarctic continent -- they are aquatic animals -- and only come to Antarctica's beaches to breed.
it melts. It is because ,for example ,if a boy has a dozen of ice , and he forgets to put it back, then the ice melts over time. Then ,when the boy go looks for the ice it had turned into water and what had happen was because the ice was in heat over night .That is why the ice melts and the heat helps the ice melts.
the ice cream will get dry and sticky and will smell sour
