it was actually a human a man named Adam he was the first anything on earth

The first animals intentionaly sent into space were fruit flies aboard an American launched German made V-2 rocket in 1947. It is possible that insects were sent into space aboard V2 rockets in World War II, but this was not intentional.

The first monkey in space was Albert II a rehsus macaque who was sent into space in a V2 rocket on June 14, 1949. He survived the trip into space but was unfortuantely killed when the rocket crashed on landing.
