it means that they are either getting scared or angry. or even meaning they want to be left alone.
If your rabbits ears are hot it is either over heated (too hot and trying to cool it's self off by circulating the blood thru the large veins in it's ears) or it has a fever. If it is too hot you can help it cool off by putting a cool cloth on it's ears and a frozen coke bottle in it's cage for it to lie down beside. If it has a fever you should check it over for source of infection or take to vet.
when the rabbits ears are hot it could be sick or it could be acess heat . It could be affeted by room temperature. you might want to contact the rabbit breeder or the vet.
hope that helped

Yes, it's usually normal for rabbits to have warm ears. Rabbits don't sweat: instead, they regulate their body temperature through their ears. When rabbits are hot -- like when the rabbit has been running around and playing -- the hot blood moves to the ears, the heat escapes a bit through the skin, and the rabbit is a little bit cooled down.
However, very hot ears could indicate a fever or heat stroke, so consider the circumstances and look for other signs of illness when you notice your rabbit has hot ears. If the rabbit is too hot (fever, heat stroke, etc.), the ears are not enough to cool the rabbit down: the rabbit needs medical attention from a knowledgeable, experienced rabbit vet.

When Rabbits get really hot they will lay on their side and will "pant". Another way to tell if your bunny is hot is that their ears will be very warm.
Dessert rabbits, like all rabbits, have big ears to help regulate their body temperature. The large surface area of their ears allow them to dissipate heat more effectively, keeping them cool in hot environments like desserts. Additionally, their big ears also help them hear predators and other threats approaching from a distance.
There are many rabbits with ears sticking up. My Netherland dwarf rabbit, which is the smallest rabbit, has upright ears. Also dutch rabbits and rex rabbits do, to name some. Hope this is of some help :)
yes.
Lop ears in rabbits are a genetic trait where the ear cartilage is floppier than normal, causing the ears to hang down. This trait is passed down through generations and is commonly bred intentionally in certain rabbit breeds for their unique appearance.

There are 2 most common causes of hot or red ears. Having hot ears can mean that you have a fever and it can also mean that your blood pressure is elevated.
it means it is storing the heat, not leatting it out.
The plural form for rabbit ears is (one) rabbit's ears; or (two) rabbits' ears.
True
It's not true that rabbits with long ears have a longer lifespan than rabbits with short ears. Ear length has no bearing on a rabbit's lifespan.

It depends on its species and size. Tiny rabbits have tiny ears.

Rabbits use their long ears to detect predators, regulate their body temperature, and communicate with other rabbits. The large surface area of their ears helps them dissipate heat, keeping them cool in hot weather. Additionally, their acute hearing allows them to hear approaching threats from a distance, giving them time to escape.
