I have an outdoor cat, and he is vey happy. Outdoors is a very good choice for any new pet. Good way to avoid cleaning litter boxes. Cats bury their waste, so if you let them out, you will never see any. To train them, let them out for short periods of time, while following them abot 10 feet behind them. Eventually, they will learn to come back to your house on their own. Try not to let them out at night, unless you live in the city, because there are a lot of coyotes at night.... Good luck!
An outdoor cat may hunt and eat small animals such as birds, mice, insects, and small reptiles. They may also scavenge for food in outdoor environments or be fed by humans who leave out food for them. It's important for outdoor cats to have a balanced diet to ensure they are getting proper nutrition.
You're lucky if it lives to see its second birthday, what with weather conditions, the fact that there is no food outdoors, predators, being hit by cars, and other things. Very smart idea to keep your cat inside at all times where it can live an average of 12 years old. my cat just died at 16 and he was strictly indoors.
EDIT:
This previous answer was obviously meant to straight up, scare you from letting your cat outdoors. I too, agree that it's best to keep your cat indoors. Especially if you live in the city. Or even the suburbs. But the fact that your cat "Will be lucky to see its second birthday" is bull. Average of outdoor cats is about 8 years. Which, is 4-7 years off of the average indoor cat.
So to answer your question, 6-8 years is the average. But you must take into consideration that cars/weather etc play a major part in that.
This depends what country you live in. In the UK it is legal to let your cat roam outside, but in some states in the US its illegal for your cat to roam outside of your property. Sadly I couldn't find a list of those states, so it might be advisable to contact your local authorities to find out if you wish to let your cat out.
yes it can because if the cat is not a stray cat and it is your friends or something like that and it is outside it can become a indoor cat
Not very good.
Cat food, meat and cat biscuits
That depends on the size, age, and weight of your cat. Read the back of your cat's food bag/can, and it will have feeding instructions for you to follow.
buy a cat
1) eat it 2) leave it, but more likely to eat it
A cat will eat when he is hungry. If he is not eating, and he is an outdoor cat, almost certainly he is mooching off the neighbours, who possibly are feeding him something he likes better than what you are offering.
my cat is a outdoor cat it will get more aggressive if outdoor if i were you i would keep it inside indoor or outdoor you decide
Think about what outdoor cats eat, they eat anything they can catch, squirrels, mice, birds, fish (if you have a lake or something near by)
well if the cat is an indoor only cat they can live to about 20 years tops but if its a indoor outdoor or only outdoor cat then probably 10 or 15 years.
obey its orders
Depending on the size of your cat, it might be able to handle it if it was a very big cat but most cats wouldn't be able to handle it.
Can outdoor snails eat fish food flakes

Cat cameras are used to capture the nature of outdoor activities that a cat may partake in. It's basically used as a research device that records the activity and behavior of outdoor cats.
Yes they will, cats are able to smell a chemical that the human body gives off shortly before dying. The eyes of a dead person are very desirable to eat by cats. Police doctors know this and mortuaries are not allowed to have a cat because of this phenomena.
Not very good.
