pets offer a friend when you are down, blue, or just need someone to talk and let it all out. they will cuddle(except a fish, that's more for younger children who's starting to learn responsibilities.) with you when you are mad because they can sense your feelings. they also offer a sense of responsibilities if you have children in your home.

They listen. They provide company. They love you unconditionally. They are always happy to be with you. They do not judge you and they will not question your motives. They love you even more when you're dirty or sweaty. Sounds like a great friend to me!

quite simply because it is something to love which in return gives you love back, unconditionally and without malice, no matter who or what you are, rich poor they dont care, they need your love, and with that comes your commitment to them to look after them, wonderful trusting little babies, dogs cats horses rabbits guinea pigs birds hens pigs goats fish no matter what, treat them right and they love you to bits, amazing.

They can only be used for simple tasks for the most part. There are animals for protection, mainly guard dogs. Seeing-eye dogs don't really count as a pet. Mostly they're just there as a companion-for affection (In a non-romantic way, obviously)

No. Only families that want pets and can take care of pets should have pets.

Pets are important because they play a big role in nature, and without them everything would be different.

Pets are important to their owners as they are members of their families. Family pets are cared for and loved and offer companionship to their owners.
