Mice are sometimes a little 'nocturnal', they sleep quite a while in the day. Mice can be kept as pets and they do lots of playful things and if are kept as a pet like to have wheels, tunnels and mazes to play in. They are cute little, interesting creatures, some people think that mice really do eat cheese but that is a myth, like the myth that cats drink milk. They eat mice pellets. Mice can also be taught tricks. Mice are quite socialites and like to be kept with another mouse or so, if you have one it would get quite lonely and bored. Mice live up to around 1-2 years. Mice are a good choice of pet if you're looking for something small, easy & simple but playful & fun. They can be skittish and cautious or they can be calm and confident, it all depends on how old you get it and how caring you be with it. By getting them at a young age they will become more confident around their owner.

Mice are known to be scared of cats because they are natural predators for them. The presence of a cat can cause fear and stress in mice, leading them to avoid areas where they might encounter a cat.
If you find a mouse being chased by your cat outside, try to intervene by calling your cat away and allowing the mouse to safely escape. Make sure to discourage your cat from hunting mice in the future to help protect wildlife. Consider implementing safeguards to prevent your cat from catching mice, such as keeping them indoors.
A cat cannot give any disease that it does not have itself. A cat can bring in fleas from outside, and fleas may in turn carry diseases; and there is a slight potential for a cat to bring in infected mice (in drought-stricken areas, cats have been known to hunt and catch mice with hantavirus). But by and large, a healthy cat will not bring any significant diseases with him.
In "The Brave Mice," the mice placed a bell around the cat's neck to alert them of its presence, allowing the mice to avoid the cat.

Well think about what a cat eats.Cats eat mice and mice eat corn.So if the mice eat the corn then they would grow and be healthy for the cat to eat.If the mice didn't eat corn then they wouldn't grow so the cat wopuldn't have anything to eat.So corn is important to a cat because mice eat corn and cat eat mice.Hoped it helped!
