Horses are not commonly consumed for food in many Western cultures, but there are some cultures where horse meat is eaten. However, there are health concerns related to consuming horse meat due to the potential presence of drugs that are not approved for use in animals intended for human consumption.
Conkers are the hard, shiny seeds found inside the spiky green shells of horse chestnuts. Horse chestnuts are the trees that produce these seeds, while the term "conkers" specifically refers to the seeds themselves. Horse chestnuts are not edible for humans, while conkers are often used in the traditional children's game of conkers.

Generally carass weight includes the bones in the main part of the animal. The percentage of meat and bone (% yield) from most animals that are bred for slaughter (cows, sheep, pigs etc.) are in the 50-70 percent range based the type of animal. Horses probably run in te low end of this range as they are not bred for slaughter. Certain of the more muscular breeds of horses, especially those that have lighter bone would yield higher. An animal with a live weight of 1000 pounds would have a carcass weight between 500 and 600 pounds. The other answer is that no horses have edible meat (whether this is because they are loaded with chemicals or can't be slaughtered humanely) so zero pounds.
Chestnuts and Horse Chestnuts are not the same thing. Chestnuts are edible by humans. Horse Chestnuts (Buckeyes) are not edible and are generally considered poisonous --- even to horses!
No they aren't. But sweet chestnuts are.
Marron is brown but is also a chestnut (not the edible horse chestnut)
The buckeye, or horse chestnut, is toxic to most animals (do not confuse it with the edible chestnut).
Horses are not considered edible animals, but more domesticated animals in many countries.
Well yes SOME are and contain psilocybin a naturally occurring hallucinogen - yum! enjoy!
