From what I understand it is at least 2 gallons of water per inch of fish. More water is always better than less. Remember fish need room to move around and swim. The typical fishbowl one might buy from the store is not sufficient for most fish and as an aside, the shape of those types of bowls negatively affects the fish's respiration. Best to get a regular shaped tank (square, rectangle, etc.) and use more than enough water.
they eat fish and drink water to survive
Fish do not need air to breathe like humans do. They have gills that extract oxygen from the water. Fish absorb the oxygen they need from the water around them through their gills, allowing them to survive underwater.
Water is important to fish because it provides oxygen for their respiration, helps regulate their body temperature, and serves as a medium for waste removal and nutrient absorption. Water also supports their buoyancy and allows them to move and hunt for food.
Because of the sea beds. Sorry, old joke. If a fish gets out of water, they die. So they sleep, eat and play in water.
Fish scales provide protection by reducing friction and protecting against injuries or parasites. They also help fish regulate their buoyancy and maintain water balance. Additionally, scales allow fish to swim more efficiently by reducing drag in the water.
fish need air because they won't be able to breath if they didn't have air, and fish need air badly because they spend most time in the water. fish need air as much as we do.
Goldfish don't need salt because they are Freshwater Fish!
Saltwater fish require salt water, and fresh water fish need fresh water, you can't mix them, or the fish will die. You need to look at each individual fishes needs as to what temp they need their water to be. There are some saltwater fish that can survive in fresh water, but it is not healthy for them.
Depends on the fish.
They need the oxygen in the water to survive like fish and every thing else.
It depends on the fish.
Fresh Water
You need to get out half the water and the fish clean the filter if you have on then put the fish back in and try not feeding them as much that's probably what is making it fog up.
Tap water. But to keep fish healthy you will need to add a chemical called Water conditioner or Water ager. This simply removes any chlorine or chloride from the water as fish cant live in chlorinated water.
no tropical fish need warm water
It cant, fish need water to survive.
Yes. All animals need water. This includes fish.
