Average weight is anywhere between 900 and 1100 lbs. They can weigh considerably more however when you ask about draft type breeds.

A horse's weight depends upon the horse's size. Miniature horses may only weigh a few hundred pounds, while draft horses such as a Clydesdale can weigh over 2,000 pounds.
Light riding horses can weigh up to 1400 lbs. Draft horses often weigh over 2000 lbs. But weights all depend on the breed and sex of the horse.
The weight can always be different but it is a lot. For example, One of my ponies (he is 1m35 tall) weighs 350 kilos. And one of my horses (she is 1m65 tall) weighs 700 kilos.

This can vary widely depending on the specific breed. It can be 250-300 lbs. for a pony or mini or 1500 lbs. and up for the large draft breeds. But the average saddle horse that stands 15.2HH will generally weigh 800-1100 lbs.
