Anteaters usually only have up to 2 babies max a year this is because anteaters are pregnant for 6 months and they normally only have 1 baby at a time. The mother then cares for the baby for a year sometimes letting the young nurse for the whole year. So it would only be every year and a half to two years that they would give birth.
