Ants communicate with each other through pheromones, chemicals that they release and follow to locate food sources. When an ant finds food, it lays down a pheromone trail for other ants to follow, creating a collective effort to gather food efficiently. This trail helps the other ants navigate from the nest to the food source and back, ensuring the entire colony can benefit.
Ants show other ants where the food is by making a path with a chemical they secrete. Usually a scout will return to the nest while laying this chemical, and it will prompt several ants to help collect food, from experiments I have conducted, the ants seem to lay a more concentrated trail depending on how good the food is, using soft mints, the ants seem to turn up in the several dozens to crack open the shell and gobble up all the minty goodness inside.

because the ant's food is heavy to them.
Yes. In the story the grasshopper was being lazy to get food for the winter but the ant collected food for the winter. At the end the grasshopper had to ask the ant for some food.
Ant larvae mainly consume liquid food provided to them by adult worker ants, such as regurgitated food or secretions produced by the workers. Ant pupae do not eat during this stage of development, as they are in a non-feeding stage preparing to undergo metamorphosis into adult ants.
An ant's stomach is called a crop or social stomach. It typically stores food before it is shared with other members of the ant colony through a process called trophallaxis.
Ant larvae are fed by adult worker ants with a diet primarily consisting of regurgitated liquid food. This liquid is high in proteins, fats, and other nutrients necessary for the development of the larvae. The composition of this food can vary depending on the species of ant and the needs of the growing larvae.
