Depending on the species of frog/toad, it may quickly flick out a sticky tongue and bring its prey into its mouth to swallow. If it does not have a tongue, it simply jumps and catches it the harder way by using just its mouth. with their tongue

The frog's digestive system begins with the mouth. Frogs have teeth along their upper jaw called the maxillary teeth, which are used to grind food before swallowing. These teeth are very weak, and cannot be used to catch or harm agile prey. Instead, the frog uses its sticky tongue to catch food (such as flies or other insects). The food then moves through the oesophagus into the stomach. The food then proceeds to the small intestine (duodenum and ileum) where most digestion occurs. Frogs carry pancreatic juice from the pancreas, and bile (produced by the liver) through the gallbladder from the liver to the small intestine, where the fluids digest the food and extract the nutrients. When the food passes into the large intestine, the water is reabsorbed and wastes are routed to the cloaca. All wastes exit the body through the cloaca and the cloacal vent.

There are lots of different frogs but most of the time a frog would chew their food by actually dropping their eyes in these pockets that come into the mouth. If you ever feed a frog you will most likely be able to see them doing this.

With the digestive system, frogs are the same as humans. they eat the food (normally its whole because they don't have teeth that can grind and chew there food into tinny pieces like humans) then that food slips down the oesophagus that is lined with saliva to help ease the food so it doesn't get stuck then after being squeezed threw that it reaches the stomach where it is turned in to a green pasty looking liquid called chime. this makes it easier for you body to extract the nutrients and dispose of the garbage. After it has been transformed it slips into your large intestine. When it is here it also is taking nutrients and breaking down even more. After that the disregarded material is disposed of when you go to the bathroom.

A frog catches its prey using its sticky tongue. It quickly flips its sticky tongue out to catch insects or small animals, then pulls its tongue back into its mouth to swallow its food whole.
