If a kitten has a fever it might be dehydrated. Try getting it to drink some water or milk if it hasn't recently enough. Make sure the milk is lactose free though!

It also may have feline upper respiratory infection. My kitten just got over that. If it is sneezing, sniffling, and/or has watery eyes then it's probably that. It can get worse if the kitten is stressed, so it's probably not a good idea to do a bath or anything like that.

Feline upper respiratory infection hits young kittens the hardest, especially if they don't have their mother when they're less than 8 weeks old.

Keep your cat hydrated and calm. If comfortable, the cat's temperature might wind down. If the cat can stand being in water, give him a bath with lukewarm water.

Can a mom cat take the kittens from one location to another?

Yes, a mom cat can move her kittens from one location to another if she feels the current location is unsafe or if she believes the kittens would be better off in a different environment. This behavior is natural as mother cats instinctively prioritize the safety and well-being of their offspring.

Yes, it is generally safe for the male cat to see the mother's babies when they are 2 weeks old. If the male cat shows any signs of aggression or stress, it may be best to limit or prevent his access to the kittens.

Age of puppy before bringing home?
