Unicorns are mythological creatures, so no one has actually "documented" their feeding process as a scientist could for a real living animal.

However, in every mythology that has unicorns, they appear to eat in roughly the same way as horses. This requires them to graze on grasses and chew the grasses in their mouths. In some legends, the Unicorn can drink water through its hooves, but the dominant tradition is that they drink water in the same manner as horses.
