The male gets the female preganaunt and then the male leaves the female. After about six months later the female has her baby and the baby stays on the mamas stomache. About 16 months later the mama has to let her baby go, if the baby dosn't go then the mama has to snip at the baby to make it leave. Sloths do this every year so after she lets her baby go she probably will have nother one.
Female sloths mate with male sloths, then undergo a gestation period of about 10 months before giving birth. Sloths typically give birth while hanging upside down from a tree branch, and the baby sloth is born head-first. The mother will care for and nurse the baby sloth until it is old enough to be independent.
Young 3-toed sloths are referred to as baby sloths or sloth babies.
Baby sloths are called "sloth babies" or "sloth pups". They are also sometimes referred to as "sloths".

Sloths nurture their babies by carrying them on their belly or back for the first few months of their life. They provide them with protection and warmth until the babies are ready to be independent. Sloth mothers also nurse their young and teach them how to find food and survive in their environment.
