When a baby bird is fed by it's parents, most of the time it is with regurgitated food. This food has already started the digestive process, so the baby is receiving all the fluids it needs from it's parents, and the foods they provide. If you find a baby bird, and can not find the nest near by, do not try to give it any liquids. They can inhale the liquids and either drown or develope pneumonia. There are many sites for how to help, and feed baby birds, I've listed some below.

Baby birds typically get their water from the food they eat, such as insects or fruits. In some cases, they may also drink water from shallow puddles or droplets on leaves. Parent birds may regurgitate water along with the food to keep their chicks hydrated.
