There are two kinds of easy bird baths to make. I will cover both.

1: Open space bird bath

Birds love ponds, streams, etc. That is why we made this up. Depending on what kinds of birds you are trying to attract you may need a different size of a plant saucer. I got a medium size. Dig a small hole large enough to fit your saucer in it. Put your saucer in it and... voila! To improve your bird habitat add a feeder and a nesting box.

2: Raised bird bath

Get a pot and plant saucer. Flip your pot upside down and glue the saucer to the bottom. Fill it with water. In no time you may see many birds come to take a dip.

I hope that this helped a bunch. If you want to get more into birds visit allaboutbirds.org

To make a simple bird bath, you can use a shallow container like a large saucer or tray, and place it on a pedestal or hang it from a tree branch. Fill it with water to a depth of about 1-2 inches. Place some rocks or pebbles in the water for birds to perch on while they drink or bathe. Position the bird bath in a quiet area of your yard with some nearby shrubs or trees for birds to seek cover.
