Animals either eat the acorn and expel them some distance from the tree when they go to the toilet. or they are stored underground by squirrels who ultimately forget one or two, which in turn sprout and grow.

Acorns are dispersed through various methods such as being carried by animals like squirrels, birds, or mice who bury them for food storage and then forget about them. Some acorns also fall directly to the ground from the tree, while others are dispersed by water or wind. This dispersal helps the acorns to grow into new oak trees in different locations.

A lot of small wild animals like squirrels and such eat them and eventually it goes out the other end and the acorn grows from there.

And Jaden Douglas I got it from a trustworthy online source. And I read a book and it showed this is what happened to acorns.

One more thing: It also could get buried by squirrels and if they forget then yeah it grows.
