A spider is an araneae, an order of arachnid they are not in the same classification as an insect. As for the fastest insect, I would bet on one of the flying varieties. Though I do not have an answer as to which one.

Well no offense but the person that said spider is an idiot which is one the second statement that I would like to say is that the fastest six legged CREATURE is a cockaroach
