The consumption of the pork (pig meat) has been considered as unlawful and Haraam according to the Qur'an. Qur'an is the final word of Allaah and it cannot be denied. This has been said amost 1400 yrs ago. Now the scientists have proved that pigs are the most susceptible animal to variety of infections and infestations. Take a slab of pork. Pour Coke over it and wait for 10 minutes. You will notice the worms crawling out of the slab.

And even then, the worms do not eat your brain, although they are not good for your health. Tapeworms normally live in the intestines, and trichinosis affects the muscles.
