Yes they can, although not very high..their legs are too short. My male dwarf hamster does it all of the time when trying to escape his quarters.

Hamsters are typically not known for their jumping abilities. They are more adept at climbing, digging, and running on their exercise wheels. However, some hamsters may exhibit some degree of jumping behavior, particularly when exploring their environment or trying to navigate obstacles.

First of all, it's hamsters. And they can't really do tricks. You can get them to stand up for food and use a litter box, but that is probably it

Can dwarf hamsters live in a c and c cage?

i guess, hamsters are escape artists. you would have to put the coroplast up as high as the grids. i wouldn't with a dwarf and if you have other animals they will probably jump into it unless you make a cage lid for it.

Will hamsters die if they jump off a high elevation?

No, they have very flexible little bones that are like rubber. they can jump off very high places, and not get hurt. That's why they can squeeze through doors and stuff like that.

Can you wake hamsters up?

It's not recommended to wake hamsters up while they are sleeping as it can be stressful for them. Hamsters are nocturnal animals and are most active during the night, so it's best to allow them to rest undisturbed during the day. If you need to check on your hamster during the daytime, do so quietly and gently without waking them up.

How do you convince your family and dog to let you get 2 roborovski hamsters?

Well if you have another pet that might by chance want to eat or hurt the hamsters, you should put the cage in a high area like a tall table. (if you have a cat, make sure there are no places where they jump on and then jump on the high area) Another thing you can do is block off a room like your bedroom with a pet gate and put the hamster cage in the blocked off room.
