Note that an elephant can even take down 7 attacking lions in a large pride by charging and crushing them to death. One lion cannot kill an elephant due to the elephant's thick skin, muscles, and size. At least 10 lions are good enough to kill an elephant.
No. An elephant has thick hide and would trample the lion to death.
I've seen clips of Lion prides attempting to corner a Rhino or chasing a Rhino but nothing more. Rhinos have a thick armor that Lions in all likelyhood would find impossible to penetrate.Besides that a Rhino is about 4tons of armor and a leathal horn and speed which makes it exceedingly dangerous for even for a couple of full grown males to take on.
no elephants can not kill lions it is elegal
Um... on WHAT PLANET do elephants have to follow the Endangered Species Act? Of course they can kill lions, and quite easily I might add. One swat from an elephant's 400lb trunk is more than enough to break the spine of a lion. It can also gore the lion with its seven-foot tusks, or just throw it off balance and crush it beneath those massive feet. Even an entire pride of lions wouldn't dare attack an adult bull elephant in his prime, and persistent attacks would likely do nothing more than provoke the Goliath-like pachyderm into a rage. An elephant can go completely mad and destroy EVERYTHING in his path. He can charge through walls, crush mighty carnivores, you name it- if it's a life form found on land, chances are an elephant is more than enough to kill it.
Lions are afraid when elephants trumpet because the loud sound can startle them and signal potential danger. Elephants are much larger and stronger than lions, so the lions may perceive them as a threat. Additionally, the vibrations from the trumpet can carry through the ground, making it difficult for lions to pinpoint the elephant's location and increasing their sense of vulnerability.
Humans are the only predator that a elephant has. ADDENDUM: Humans are not elephants' only predator. Elephants are also hunted by lions, hyenas and wild dogs. Elephant calves are far more vulnerable to attacks from these predators and are frequently taken from the mother if there are no other adult elephants to help her defend her offspring. Large groups of lions have learned how to attack and kill juvenile elephants who have wandered away from the herd and lone adult elephants, too. These carnivores have to have large enough numbers and be hungry enough, though, to risk such a dangerous undertaking.
While there are no single animals known to prey on adult elephants regularly, young elephants may be vulnerable to predation by large carnivores such as lions, hyenas, and crocodiles. These predators may opportunistically target young or weak elephants in specific circumstances.
Lions have no natural predators. Lions are Apex Predators that are on the top of their food chain and have no natural predators that can kill adult lions. However young lions are vulnerable to Hyena's. Also, adult Elephants, Rhino's or Hippo's can injure or even kill lions when there is a face off but that happens very rarely.

Nobody really hunts them besides humans. Elephants and rhinos squash or pierce them if they get too close, but that's it.Nile crocodiles have killed and ate lionesses in water.
Lions kill more because they are fond of meat.

The lion is on top of the food chain. It is an apex predator and preys on all mammals and herbivores that live in the forest. Male Elephants have been known to kill Lions when in Musth but apart from this, Adult Lions have no natural enemies or predators that can kill them.
