I find catnip toys lose their effect within the first month. I purchased a small toy in the shape of a mouse you can open and change the catnip yourself works best.
The effects would depend on the cat though! :)
You can give a cat catnip by sprinkling it on the ground or on their toys, or by stuffing it inside a toy or scratching post. Catnip is safe for cats to ingest and inhale in moderate amounts, but remember not all cats are affected by it.
Catnip mice are great toys to give to your cats. Common places on the internet that has a wide variety of catnip mice is from Amazon. If you like to purchase this, search up a local pet store because they would be very likely to have it in stock.
Commercial bubbles for children are not always safe for cats. Make sure to buy bubbles specifically made for cats. Catnip scented bubbles are a great choice.
You can make a cat happy by giving them fresh food and water and by playing with them. I have a catnip mouse tied onto a string and she loves to play fetch and brings it back to me. Your cat will be happier if you keep their litter box clean, give them attention when they want it, but you must also give them some distance because they are an independent animal. Special treats to eat makes them happy and my cat likes to have a smell and then a taste of what I'm eating, if she is so inclined. My cat likes to sit in the 2nd story window of my home and look out over the yard. IF she sees another cat she goes ballistic. I put about 1 tablespoon of Clorox in a quart of water and coat my hands with this. My cat loves it, even better than catnip. She licks my hands and plays in mock attack mode. Most important, just love your cat and take care of their needs and DON'T step on them.
To attract your neighbor's cat, try using familiar scents like catnip or treats. Additionally, try calling the cat's name gently or using a toy to play with them and encourage their interest in coming to you.

Hahahaha boy what a dilly question! Catnip being a drug for cats is just a funny joke they make in movies and books! They do it for laughter but still don't feed your cat too much catnip you don't want it to Fay do you?
Jingling cat toys with catnip are favorites for cats! Cat lasers, toy mice, and string are great cat toy ideas as well.
When choosing a cat grooming toy, look for features like durable materials, catnip infusion, different textures for scratching and grooming, and a design that appeals to your cat's preferences.
There are many ways, you could call a peice of string a cat toy though. I sew 1inx2in little fabric pillows that have catnip, bells, and crinckly sounding wrappers inside them. My cats love them! I normally use fleec fabric, because the cats lick the toys trying to get the catnip out, and that wont hurt their tongue
Catnip is a type of mint and rubbing or sniffing catnip gives them a sort of high (it is not dangerous though). It is not really known why it effects cats in the way it does, but it is due to a chemical called Nepetalactone that is released from the plant when a cat rubs, chews or otherwise "bruises" the leaves. There is speculation that it may mimic a cat pheromone, but this has yet to be proven.

Some popular options for a dog toy that looks like a cat include plush cat-shaped toys, catnip-filled toys, and interactive cat-shaped squeaky toys.
