Well, if you're talking about dry cat food, yes, because I just ate a piece this afternoon! :) I don't know about wet cat food, but since I ate the dry food I've been fine, no problems or anything. My sister and mom ate it too, and my mom hated it.

The law does restrict how you treat your cat, and killing your cat in order to eat it may be against the law locally -- it is often the case that only licensed veterinarians can euthanize a cat.
