It is generally not recommended to house turtles and lizards together in the same tank. Turtles require different environmental conditions, such as water for swimming and a basking area, while lizards need dry land and specific heating and lighting requirements. Additionally, there could be potential conflicts over food and territory between the two species.
Turtles typically do not prey on lizards. Turtles are more likely to eat plants, insects, fish, and occasionally small mammals, while lizards primarily eat insects, small animals, and vegetation.
It is generally not recommended to house frogs and turtles together in the same tank. This is because turtles are known to be opportunistic feeders and may mistake the frog as prey, posing a risk to the frog's safety. Additionally, frogs have specific habitat and environmental requirements that may not be met in a turtle tank.
It depends on the species and size of the turtles. Many turtle species do not thrive in the same tank due to aggression or differences in habitat requirements. It's best to research the specific needs of each turtle species before attempting to house them together.
for two males a ten gallon tank heavly planted, two females 1 gallon, male and female same as first one
It's not recommended to house slider turtles and painted turtles together as they have different habitat requirements and may exhibit aggression toward each other. It's best to keep them in separate tanks to ensure their well-being and reduce stress.
yes
No. Not unless you're prepared to take care of all the baby turtles they will have together.
turtles need to swim, live, everything in water and toads need water but don't live in it. . . . . Also the turtle could possibly eat the toad depending on size hahaha
No, a mussel or clam cannot be put in the same tank as a baby turtle. Baby turtles, as well as adult turtles will eat mussels and clams.
Yes, they can live in dry land or in water :)
At the zoo: Fish live in an aquarium (water tank). Lizards live in a terrarium (earth tank). Birds live in an aviary (big cage for birds).

My two turtles have lived with minnows that I bought to feed them for about two years without hurting one, but they do like pet goldfish. ; p
NO! Turtles are reptiles and should be kept in a vivarium never in an aquarium with fish. Reptiles and amphibians will foul the water and the fish will not survive.
No ! NEVER mix species unless they're found together naturally ! Chameleons are rain-forest lizards, while leopard geckos are desert dwellers ! Additionally, part of a chameleons diet is other lizards !
Yes you can! In fact it is recommended that you do!
I have mine together in the same tank and they are fine so I don't see why not.
