While both porbeagle and its slightly smaller cousin the Salmon Shark, are both large enough to be considered potentialy , there are no confirmed reports of attacks on humans by either of these sharks. Porbeagles have been known to bump boats and divers,but this is probably due to their playfull nature. Porbeagles are only sharks in the world know to have "playfull" interactions with eachother,including playing "tag", and passing seaweed and other objects to each other.
Porbeagle sharks are not typically known to be aggressive towards humans. While there have been occasional sightings of porbeagle sharks in areas where humans are present, there are no recorded attacks on humans by porbeagle sharks. They are generally shy and tend to avoid human interaction.
