The alligators in Alabama are found in and around the state's waterways. They are not common in areas where there is a lot of human activity but can be found in some small lakes and creeks. In August of 2014 a 15-foot long, 1,000 pound alligator was captured 80 miles west of Montgomery.

Yes, but you have to know where to look. They are mostly seen around the feed mills, but have been seen in the Town Creek area and the state park in Guntersville.

I have seen them out on the Golf courses about 100yds from the shore of the intercoastal. I think its safe to assume that yes, they are there, esp if you are near a creek or river.
