the children in need organisation is important because as a society we need to all raise awarness that there are children and there fanilies who have been neglacted or sexually and physically abused and there are even children out there who have no food or water and together as a society we could all help are people together because it doesnt matter where your from or who you are the only thing that matters is that those people out there need are help and together we could all help them.
Children in Need is a BBC charity which has an annual fundraising show each November. People from around the UK raise money in a wide variety of ways, from sponsored walks/cycle rides to sitting in baths of baked beans. Viewers of the show are shown appeal videos and asked to call in to donate money or do so via the website. All the money goes to help vunerable children in the UK, so those suffering from serious illness or who have a disability, young carers or those at risk of abuse or neglect.
