β 10y agoStacey was in a bad mood on the first day of school in "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry" because he was annoyed by T.J. Avery, who kept pestering him and his siblings to let him walk with them to school. Stacey was frustrated by T.J.'s behavior and didn't want him to join their family group.
