!!MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!!
Series One: Rusty is a kittypet who is accepted into ThunderClan, a group of wild forest cats. He investigates the death of a ThunderClan cat and discovers that Tigerclaw, another warrior, is plotting to take over ThunderClan. Eventually, Tigerclaw is exposed and banished. He takes over a neighboring Clan and joins forces with another Clan in an attempt to take over ThunderClan, too. He asks a third Clan from the human's town to join him, but the leader, Scourge, of this Clan kills him and declares war on ThunderClan. Rusty, now Fireheart, becomes leader of ThunderClan and battles Scourge, killing him and returning peace to the forest.
Series Two: Tigerstar's son, Brambleclaw, and some other cats from each Clan travel to find an old badger named Midnight who tells them that the land that the Clans live in is going to be ripped apart by humans, so they return to the Clans and the Clans travel together to find a new home. Once there, they have to find new territories and camps.
Series Three: A prophecy concerning three cats, Hollypaw, Lionpaw, and Jaypaw says that they are destined to have the power of the stars in their paws. Jaypaw, who is blind, becomes ThunderClan's new medicine cat apprentice. A strange cat named Sol comes to the forest and foretells the dissapearance of the sun (an eclipse) and then takes over ShadowClan, turning them away from the Warrior Code. The three manage to get ShadowClan on the right track and Sol promises to help the three with their powers. Then, there is a forest fire and the three learn that the cat who they think is their mother was lying. Ashfur, another warrior, hears this and threatens to tell the Clans about it. Hollypaw (now Hollyleaf) kills him and eventually tells the Clans herself. She then runs into a tunnel and is killed. Lionpaw and Jaypaw (now Lionblaze and Jayfeather) think that the prophecy is ruined because Hollyleaf is dead, but then they see that another litter of kits has been born and one of them must be the last part to the prophecy.
