Writing to entertain is basically, a speech, newspaper article or some form of letter or advert. It doesn't necessarily need to be lol funny but still. It also needs to contain some form of sarcasm, you can't constantly take the mic out of the subject, you would need to; say if you were interested in walking you could say 'We walkers' so you include yourself in the mic taking.
Very little entertainment does not include speech.
