No, the warrior cats movie is not in production (yet). Well, according to Bramblehead, who writes to Erin a lot, yes, there is a definite plan. But go onto her message board and ask her that yourself. I'll phone her and tell her to check her message board.

As of now, there hasn't been any official announcement of a Warrior Cats movie starting production. The project has been talked about and in development for some time, but there is no confirmed start date for filming.
