Well as most people think, at first they did NOT blame the Jews for their loss. But they were angry because Germany was literally not itself it was controlled by foreign troops. The Germans were abused and shot dead on the street, and any protests were cut short by machine gun bullets. When Hitler came to power he pushed those troops out and pointed out the part the Jews played in WWI giving supplies and support to the Allies. This led to the Holocaust. But they were mainly angry because of the abuse from foreign troops even though the war was over.
