When he was born in Germany, and as an infant moved with his parents to Italy, then he moved back to Germany, and his also been to Switzerland, and studied there for a while. Then he visited America in the year 1933 which was the same year that Adolf Hitler came into power.. And that's when he and other physicist wrote to Franklin Roosevelt about the theory or possibility of the Atomic Bomb that Germany could compose.

After leaving Germany in 1933 due to the rise of the Nazi party, Albert Einstein settled in the United States. He accepted a position at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. Einstein became a U.S. citizen in 1940 and remained in the United States until his death in 1955.
