What did Napolean accomplish?

During peacetime Napoleon accomplished a lot. He sold the Louisianan Territory to the United States, created a national bank in France, introduced France to the metric system, helped them out of bankruptcy, reformed the army, and made a new legal system.

He conquered and had most of Europe under his code at one time. He established the Napoleonic code, a code of conduct and led an unsuccessful campaign against Russia. His name is Napoleon, by the way :)
