What did Louis XVI eat for breakfast?

He ate a pan fried chicken, a few little pastries, some boiled beef, and a puree of turnips. He ate two chicken wings, some vegetables, two glasses of wine cut with water and a piece of sponge cake. He had to eat without a knife, since he was refused one. His jailors were afraid he might commit suicide. Louis XVI was very offended, that these men thought he would actually take his own life.

Breakfast. He came in from his routine Morning ride around the plantation and ate breakfast despite the fact he had a cold and was wet from the ride. He developed pneumonia soon after and died within 2 days. Most likely he had bacon, eggs, flapjacks ( in his day the were called Johnny cakes ) and other things. People in his time ate a large breakfast and large dinner.
