fRANCE HAD BECOME A CAPITAL FOR THE ARTS, LOUIS HAD STARTED TO SUPPORT THE ARTS, SUCH AS OPERA AND BALLET. HIS INTENT FOR THIS WAS TO GET ARTISTS TO MAKE PICTURES OF HIM, WHAT HE SUPPORTED AND HIS VALUES. FRANCE HAD BECOME AN EUROPEN POWER, MILITARILY AND POLITICALLY. fRANCE WAS STRONG POLITICALLY BECAUSE LOUIS WAS AN ABSOLUTE RULER, THAT MEANT THAT HE HAD ALL THE POWER OF HIS COUNTRY. HE MADE HIS POWER STRONGER BY WEAKING THE POWER OF THE NOBLES AND GIVING IT TO PEOPLE CALLED INTENDENTS. kINGS ALL OVER EUOPE HAD ALSO WANTED TO HAVE AS MUCH POWER AS LOUIS HAD AND DECIDIED TO TAKE POWER AWAY FROM THE NOBLES TOO. THIS GAVE ABSOLUTE RULERS MORE POWER, AND THEIR COUNTRY MORE POWER.
Economically, they lost some power after WW1, but military-wise, they did not lose as much power as the Treaty of Versailles would have us think.
Back in the day, when they caste system was invented, priests were more important than Kings because religion was strongly felt and religion mattered a lot to many people. Even much more than the King / Queen and country.
because black men and women were strong and they had very much power in there body. but white didn't have power they were weak
Personally, I would say it was neither good nor bad. It might have been necessary, but it is hard to tell. This is a value judgment that is far more complicated than it appears. Most people today, given the choice to live in a feudal society, would probably decide not to do it unless they were the head of that society, or at least near the top. But to the people of the time, feudalism provided a measure of security that was a lot better than some of the alternatives, which included chaos and anarchy. The centralized monarchies of Western Europe were not strong enough to provide stability from the top. The stability had to come locally. Feudal lords and freeholders provided a level of organization and protection to the serfs they otherwise would not have had.
