I just bought a pair of Caterpillar boots. The Alaska model and the shoe salesman told me that they were a department of Wolverine. Yeh...actually the deal is that 'Wolverine Worldwide' is a footwear manufacturer that make boots for Caterpillar. They also have their own brand called 'Wolverine'. So Cat aren't really a department of Wolverine... They are just both manufactured by the same specialist company for different brands. if your wanting to buy a pair of cat boots go to your local cat dealer they can get them alot cheaper i think i paid $62.50 compared to $110 at theisens or $120 on cat.com
A company called 'Wolverine Worldwide'. You see, Harley make bikes but not boots. So they get specialist boot maker WW to makes their boots for them and brand them as 'Harley'. WW also make Cats and their own 'Wolverine' brand which is a really good work boot.
