If you are not very good (no offence) wear very warm clothes such as thick pants, thick jackets or jumpers, gloves, a warm hat and warm thick socks. However if you have a little bit of experience and can skate quite well wear the same sorts of clothes but maybe wear a shirt that is not so thick underneath your jumper(s)/jacket(s) because it can get surprisingly quite hot if you're skating fast.
