You can, but you shouldn't. The oil in your hair 'attracts' the chemicals in the dye, if you will, and helps your hair take the color.

An oil pastel is a type of substance. It is made up of pigments, a binder, and a neutral oil.
No. Natural oil is always produced. You might not have as much if you dye your hair a lot but you will always have at least a little.
What I Do is get olive oil put it on my hair then wait 25 min take a shower then its gone hope this helped thanks
Not very much. The only thing is your hair produces more oil during PMS and the beginning of yourmenstrual cycle. So, your hair might be more oilier than usual, and the dye might not work as well. Just dye your hair immediately after you wash your hair, and wash your hair good. =]
Baby oil.
I am not sure about mixing oil in to hair dye. Olive oil,and even coconut oil is great for your hair though.
From what I've heard, chalk dying is better than oil pastel dying because oil pastels will make a huge mess. This is what I've been told so I've never actually tried Oil pastels. I have tried chalk though and it works really well.
