Faulty Vacuum Brake Booster.
the computer takes a bit to adjust and resample the air and O2... it should clear up in a few seconds maybe a minute...
Alternator versus Engine Performance IssuesIn and of itself, a "bad" alternator will not effect the engine performance. That said, IF the alternator is not properly charging the battery, and the BATTERY capacity gets low enough, then the very low power can result in very low spark production at the spark plugs, which will fail to dependably ignite the fuel, AND THEN result in "rough," or no running. So, a "bad" battery itself does not cause rough running, but can lead to battery depletion which can.
It usually means an upgrade to a 9 cell battery with (theoretically) double the usage time, but that obviously isn't an exact science, but it is a decent rough guide
to reset the guages disconnect the negative battery lead for 5 - 10 seconds and then reconnect. Presto! Guages Reset!
If there are no CEL codes, disconnect the battery for a few hours and then re-connect.
sounds like coolant temp sensor is bad but also sounds like cat might be pluged
The battery is under the back seat. Remove cushion and remove Black--Negative cable first. It's a side-post terminal.Put the dielectric grease on the threads. Swap batteries and the car will run rough for a few minutes while the UCE 're-learns' but that is normal and nothing to be concerned about
First, disconnect the negative (ground) cable from the battery. Next, disconnect the positive cable from the battery. Using a socket wrench with an extension, loosen or remove the battery hold-down clamps at the bottom of the battery. There are two clamps, on opposite ends, that pinch against a ridge on the bottom of the battery. the clamps and ridge are designed to keep the battery from bouncing out of the holder as the vehicle encounters rough roads.
Hi, Either bad charging system or battery. Check battery voltage itself and then voltage to battery with engine running. Healthy charging system will put out 1.5 to 2.0 volts above battery voltage. Motorcycles are notoriously rough on batteries. Peace, crigby
It is a physical change from a rough to a smooth surface.
