If you are looking for the high end of air Rifles then look into the PCP class of air rifles (PreCharged Pneumatic) these air rifles are used in the Olympic games and in serious hunting. PCP rifles are expensive but you get the very best in air rifles. They not only come in .177 caliber but also come in .20, .22, .25 9MM, 45 Cal and 50 caliber pellets. They require a special air pump, Or Hand pump or Scuba tank to charge them to 3000 PSI. This is far beyond the common air rifle. They will cost you allot, in the range of $300 to $3,000. Benjamen currently has a starter PCP rifle called the Discovery. If you are looking for raw power then the Shinsung Dragon slayer fires a 50 caliber slug that is capable of bringing down a deer or moose, it cost $550. If you want a top end Match rifle then the Feinwerkbau 700 Aluminum Blue will cost you $3.395. Benjamin currently has an excellent PCP rifle called the Marauder ($500) that comes in .177, .22 and .25 caliber.
The choice is yours.

If you are asking "WHAT" not "Where" is the most powerful under lever .177 air rifle. Then I suggest the "Hatsan Torpedo 150 air rifle." I comes in at around 1250 FPS where as most of the other under levers fire at around 950 to 1000 FPS. However Under levers are not the most powerful air rifles. The PCP (PreCharged Pneumatic) Class of air rifles are the most powerful air rifles. An "Air Force Condor and the Evanix Rainstorm" fires a .177 cal pellet at 1300 FPS.
Air rilfes have been made that will take down large game.
you can't
Currently it's the Beeman RX-2 at 1125 FPS in a .177 pellet
There is no most powerful airsoft sniper rifle that you can just buy. But, Iv'e heard of guys tuning them over 800fps with custom parts. My most powerful is 600fps.
No
For a air soft BB gun it's okay not powerful. For a regular BB gun "NO" that is not powerful at all. A Daisy Red Ryder BB rifle will fire around 325 FPS most new pellet Air Rifles will fire at least 1,000 FPS. A really good Air soft rifle will get around 500 FPS.
Yes. Pump, Spring and PCP (PreCharged Pneumatic) are all more powerful than a C02 system
Whether or not an air rifle is more powerful than a cross bow depends on the air rifle or cross bow. Generally a hunter's cross bow is more powerful than a child's bb gun. However, during the Napoleonic Wars, the Austrians had an extremely powerful repeating air rifle. It could shoot several hundred meters. Austrian solders armed with them could shoot Napoleon's solders from such a great distance that Napoleon's solders could do nothing about it. Eventually they ran out of bullets.
Not designed for this type of modificaiton.
First, it is rifle, not riffle. Second, no, or we would shoot tanks with a rifle. Cannon are more powerful. Finally, depends on the rifle. I have a .22 rifle and a .44 magnum pistol. The pistol is far more powerful than the rifle. I also have a .22 pistol, and a 30-06 rifle. The rifle is far more powerful than the pistol (in THAT example).
The most powerful cartridge developed specifically for civilian use would be the .585 Nyati.
