They started pruduction in 1967 I believe.
Sears branded guns were made by many different manufacturers. You would have to figure out who made it and what model that is from that manufacturer. One of the best parts sources for older guns is the Numrich company.

The sears 2c is actually a Winchester Model 131. I just acquired one and I'm looking for parts. I'll update when I learn more.I have a 2C Mod No 273.27510. I can't find a serial number anywhere on the barrel or receiver. I purchased mine from Sears in 1969.the 131 was introduced in 1967 and dropped from the Winchester line in 1973. none were serialed, so that's the closest you can get
Your rifle was made for Sears by Marlin- it is their model 81- a popular rifle. Parts may be available on their website from gunpartscorp, or any good gunsmith.

It would help if you stated the model number. Crosman made several pellet rifles for Sears. You need to provide more information.
I happen to believe that your sears model 460 could have been made by marlin.The marlin model 56 should be your sears model 460.
