your shotgun was made by High Standard manfacturing .In 1955 for Sears. Sears owned a sizable part of High standard in those Days. This model was a Sears only gun though made by High Standard it was not their gun It was known as the J C Higgins Model 10 Exclusive Sears product. These were very well made shotguns and one of the best bolt action shotguns one the market 20 gauge is also a very popula and usefull gauge If your shotgun is in good or better condition and shootable its worth $125 bucks or more depending on who wants it
Your bolt action shotgun was made for Sears Roebuck by the High Standard Company, and is the HS Model 514.1400. Depending on condition, these sell for around $85 or so. They are durable reliable shotguns- just not a lot of collector appeal.
Standard grade Model 58 shotguns sell in the $175-$250 range.
Mossberg bolt-action shotguns rarely sell for more than $140.
'1929' is going to be a patent date, not a model number. Eastern Arms Co was not an actual manufacturer, it was a brand name used by Sears on guns they marketed, generally made by the Stevens Arms Co. Value is strictly based on its usability as a shooter, and single-barrel 16ga shotguns will generally sell for less than $100. 1929 is a model number marked on Stevens/Springfield shotguns.
